Ho Yin (Michael) Cheng

Ho Yin (Michael) Cheng has a long and varied work experience, beginning with their role as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) from 2011-2008. In 2007, they worked as a Solution Architect and QA/QM Team Technical Lead for Steve & Barry's. From 2008-2010, they were a Software Developer and Senior QA Analyst for Solbright. In 2018, they were a Lead Web Development Instructor for Flatiron School. From 2019-2020, they were a Software Engineer for Groupon and a Senior Software Engineer and Full Stack Web Developer for Caring.com. Ho Yin (Michael) has also held a freelance developer role from 2017-2019 and is currently a Senior Software Engineer for Brilliant.org and an Advisor for WaTutors.

Ho Yin (Michael) Cheng attended Columbia University from 2003 to 2007, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Ho Yin (Michael) also attended Columbia University in 2010, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Continuing Education.
