Paulina Rowińska

Paulina Rowińska has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2020, they have worked as a Content Writer at Brilliant.org, a Science Writer at Gazeta Wyborcza, a Science Advocate at Science Advocates Association, a STEM Potential Leader, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Doctoral Student at Imperial College London, a Teaching Assistant at Thalesians Ltd, a Summer Intern at Met Office, President of Imperial College student chapter at Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), and a Translator at Accelerated Learning, Inc. During their time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, they taught a variety of courses for undergraduate students in mathematics and helped during weekly tutorials as well as invigilated and marked exams. During their time as President of Imperial College student chapter at Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), they organised academic and social events, contacted industrial and academic sponsors, and resolved issues between students and staff members. Her contributions were acknowledged by a nomination for the Outstanding Student Award.

Paulina Rowińska obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Warsaw between 2011 and 2015. Paulina then completed an Erasmus exchange at The University of Edinburgh in 2014-2015. Paulina went on to earn a Master's degree in Mathematics of Planet Earth at Imperial College London between 2015 and 2019. Paulina also obtained several certifications, including a Data Visualization Nanodegree from Udacity in 2020, Introduction to Probability and Data from Coursera in 2016, Managing Big Data with MySQL from Coursera in 2016, Miracles of Human Language: An Introduction to Linguistics from Coursera in 2016, and CAE from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2015. Paulina Rowińska completed their education history with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematics at Imperial College London between 2016 and 2020.
