Carrie McComb has extensive work experience in human resources and recruiting. Carrie currently holds the position of VP of People at Brilliant since July 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Strategic Advisor at Table XI for a brief period from May 2021 to June 2021.

From 2014 to 2021, Carrie worked at Wyzant as the VP of People. In this role, they had responsibility for overseeing the company's human resources functions.

Before their time at Wyzant, Carrie worked at Braintree as a Lead Technical Recruiter from January 2012 to January 2014. Carrie was instrumental in establishing best practices for product and engineering interviews and onboarding. Carrie played a key role in building the product, data, design, and engineering organizations in Chicago, and also contributed to the growth of the Palo Alto office.

Prior to Braintree, Carrie was the first technical recruiter at Groupon from July 2010 to January 2012. Carrie collaborated closely with product and engineering management to develop an efficient and positive interview experience. Carrie was responsible for hiring in various departments, including Engineering, Data/BI, Product, UX, and Product Design.

Carrie started their career at ThoughtWorks in 2004, first serving as a Recruiting Coordinator from July 2004 to January 2005. Carrie then took on the role of Technical Recruiter / Enabler from March 2009 to May 2010, where they were involved in full life-cycle recruitment for various roles, both nationally and internationally. Carrie also spearheaded initiatives such as diversity recruiting campaigns and new graduate hiring programs. Carrie later served as an Interim Global Resource Manager in April 2009 before assuming the position of Interim Global Resource Manager in May 2009.

Throughout their career, Carrie has demonstrated expertise in recruiting and human resources, establishing best practices, and contributing to organizational growth.

Carrie McComb received their Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University in 2003. During their time at the university, they pursued studies in Economics, History, and Gender Studies.
