Dan Kotowski

Dan Kotowski's work experience begins with their current position as a Software Engineer at Brilliant, a company that specializes in personalized and impactful corporate gifting. Dan supports various teams in delivering gifts that drive loyalty and happiness.

Prior to joining Brilliant in 2022, Dan held multiple roles at Buildout, Inc. Starting as a Software Engineer in 2017, they progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer and eventually became the Lead Software Engineer. At Buildout, they contributed to the development of software products.

In 2014, Dan worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the College of DuPage, where they taught online software development classes.

From 2014 to 2017, they also gained experience at Enova, working both as a Trainer in Software Engineering and as a Software Engineer.

Before that, Dan worked as a Consultant at Blue Horseshoe from 2011 to 2013, where they utilized ASP.NET MVC to develop backoffice interfaces and created custom software modifications for warehouse management systems.

Lastly, in 2008, Dan started their career as an Information Technology Intern at the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Dan Kotowski attended the College of DuPage from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Computer Information Systems. Dan then continued their education at Indiana University Bloomington from 2009 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's degree in Informatics.
