Ahmad Shorafa

Ahmad Shorafa has worked in the financial services industry since 2006. Ahmad began their career as an Operations Project Manager at Pivotal Payments, where they managed the life cycle and implementation of web-based credit card processing systems and an IP based call center phone system. During their tenure at Pivotal Payments, they also held the role of Team Leader, Merchant Support, and Support Specialist, Merchant Support. In 2011, Ahmad moved to Nuvei, where they served as Director Portfolio Management. In this role, they led the North American merchant portfolio management team of senior data analysts and successfully supported internal Sales, Operations, and Product teams. Currently, Ahmad is a Sr. Manager – Settlement and Portfolio Analysis at Brim Financial, a position they have held since 2022.

Ahmad Shorafa began their educational journey in 1997 when they attended Champlain College Saint-Lambert and obtained a Commerce DEC. Ahmad then went on to attend McGill University from 1998 to 2002, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Management Information Systems, General. In 2010, they completed a Comprehensive Project Management Course at McGill University. In 2018, they obtained an ETA-CPP from the Electronic Transactions Association.
