Jim Alexy

Jim’s extensive experience as an operational and chief executive gives him a unique perspective on what it takes to move a company along the path of high growth. At Brimstone, he has worked on a strategy development and alignment project for MeadWestvaco, a MWV division. Prior to joining Brimstone, he served as CEO and then Chairman of the Board at Network Services Company. This privately held global company engages in the distribution of a wide range of disposable products to the food service, education, hospitality, industrial, healthcare, graphic arts, and printing markets. During 17 years with the company, he successfully managed the growth from a sales base of $1 billion, primarily in the United States, to $16 billion in 36 countries.

Jim received his BA in Economics from Cornell University and his MBA from Cornell’s Johnson School of Management. He has been a guest lecturer on Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and serves on their Business Advisory Council. Jim divides his time between Naples, Florida and Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
