Cooper Rinzler has worked for a variety of companies since 2017. In that year, they became a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures. In 2018, they became a Director at Pivot Bio, a Board Observer at Form Energy, Inc., and a Director at Sierra Energy. In 2019, they became a Director at The Fannie & John Hertz Foundation. In 2020, they became a Director at Stealth Climate Company. In 2021, they became a Director at Stealth Food & Agriculture Company and a Director at Stealth Electrification Company. In 2022, they became a Director at Brimstone.

Cooper Rinzler holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Hertz Fellow, as well as a Joint Bachelors in Physics and Engineering Physics from Harvard University.
