Eric Liu

Chemical Process Engineer at Brimstone Energy

Eric Liu has worked for five different companies since 2011. In 2011, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Caltech, where they developed a framework for fabricating cloverleaf PEG microgels. In 2012, they were an Intern at Celgene, where they independently determined optimal ranges for various CAR T-cell expansion parameters. From 2013 to 2019, they were a PhD Student at Tufts University. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at SIMACRO as a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, and Project Engineer. Eric currently works as a Chemical Process Engineer at Brimstone.

Eric Liu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Caltech between 2009 and 2013. Eric then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University, which they completed in 2019. In addition, Eric has obtained two certifications from AspenTech Training, an Aspen Certified User in Aspen Hybrid Models in February 2021, and an Aspen Certified User in Aspen Plus\u00ae in November 2020.
