Nick Vallidis

Nick Vallidis has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2010, they were the Founder of Synthetic Perception LLC and a Senior Firmware Engineer at X2IMPACT. In the same year, they were also a Software Lead/Manager at Newton Research Labs. In 2013, they were a Senior SDE at Amazon and a Senior SDE in the Startup Business Group at Microsoft. In 2015, they were a Software/Firmware Engineer at Korner. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Magic Leap, first as a Lead Research Engineer and then as a Senior Computer Scientist. In 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Voyage. Finally, in 2022, they became a Principal Software Engineer at BRINC.

Nick Vallidis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002.
