Aksel Güngör

Aksel Güngör is an experienced entrepreneur and professional in the fields of climate action and technology. As the Founder of ClimateHQ since January 2024, Aksel is focused on corporate climate action data and market intelligence. Additionally, Aksel serves as a Startup Mentor for the Brinc CDR accelerator, promoting global collaboration on carbon dioxide removal. Co-founding Acclaim in January 2012, Aksel has been involved in creating a web application utilized by over 150,000 professors and students at leading institutions for video storage and annotation. Previous experience includes partnerships at Carbonx Climate, where Aksel developed relationships with carbon accounting providers, and co-founding Ridaroo, a ride-sharing web application. Aksel's early career includes roles in finance and French education, with academic credentials from Drexel University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
