Gudfinnur Sveinsson

Gudfinnur Sveinsson is the CEO and Co-Founder of Brineworks, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Gudfinnur served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, focusing on international environmental agreements. Gudfinnur has operated as an independent agile team and management consultant since February 2016, coaching teams and executives at various organizations, including Air Atlanta. Earlier experience includes roles as Management Consultant and COO at Kolibri, and key positions at QuizUp, including Product Manager, Agile Coach, Head of Quality Assurance, and Support Manager, where Gudfinnur contributed to the development of a leading mobile gaming studio. Gudfinnur's early career featured hosting a youth culture show on Ríkisútvarpið. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy from Háskóli Íslands and the University of Amsterdam.
