Bringo was founded by David Matsiko in 2017. Initially launched as a fruits and vegetable box scheme, it has since evolved into a comprehensive digital marketplace and logistics solution: a growth trajectory aimed at becoming the premier destination for seamless online shopping.

Bringo has earned a reputation as a rising disruptor in the African agritech and e-commerce space, notably being ranked as the second-best early-stage startup in Africa by the African Development Bank. This recognition highlighted its potential to transform traditional supply chains through innovation. Since then, Bringo's growth and scalability have been accelerated through partnerships and programs with prestigious global organizations, including GIZ-SAIS, the MasterCard Foundation, YSAU, and the International Trade Centre (ITC).
