Araceli Arzate

Araceli Arzate has over 16 years of work experience in the IT auditing field. Araceli began their career at Enteragon in 2004 as an IT Analyst, where they managed projects and analyzed processes for improvement. Araceli then joined Deloitte in 2006 as an IT Analyst, specializing in risk identification and recommending control measures. In 2010, Araceli joined Scotiabank as an Information Technology Audit Manager, overseeing annual assessments and directing audit projects. Araceli then moved on to Laureate International Universities in 2014 as a Senior IT Auditor. Currently, Araceli holds the position of Lead IT Auditor at Brink's Inc, where they define IT processes for review and executes audits in the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions. Araceli presents observations and recommendations to IT management.

Araceli Arzate obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Unidad Profesional Interdisciplinaria de Ingeniería y Ciencias Sociales y Administrativas. Araceli also holds certifications as a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA, obtained in 2021, and as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, obtained in 2013.
