Rob Bako

Rob Bako has extensive work experience in the tax accounting and compliance field. Rob is currently the Director of Global Tax Accounting & Compliance at Brink's Inc. Rob previously held the role of Tax Director at Hamilton Beach Brands Inc. from December 2017 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG US, specializing in federal tax, from March 2013 to December 2017. Rob also served as a Tax Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from September 2000 to February 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as an International Tax Senior at KPMG from January 1999 to July 2000.

Rob Bako obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Montana State University-Bozeman in the years 1992 to 1998. Rob has also obtained multiple certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from various institutions including the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in June 2013, the California Board of Accountancy in March 2008, and the California Society of CPAs/CalCPA Education Foundation in 2001. Additionally, they are a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
