Brent Mills

Brent Mills has a strong work experience in various roles related to information security, risk management, and operations management. Brent is currently serving as the Director of Information Security and Risk at Brinqa since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AT&T from 2020 to 2022 as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, responsible for assessing vulnerabilities, detecting threats, and maintaining compliance.

Before their tenure at AT&T, Brent worked at AT&T Cybersecurity from 2016 to 2020 as a Cloud Operations Manager, overseeing the day-to-day operations. Brent also has experience as an Operations Manager at Noesis Financing from 2011 to 2016, where they managed a SaaS application and all quality assurance processes.

Brent has served as a Consultant at Blacklight Solutions from 2010 to 2011. In 2009, they founded and served as the President and CEO of SenCare Corporation, a senior home care company that was sold in March 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager - QA at AlterPoint from 2003 to 2009, managing a team and introducing virtualization techniques.

Brent Mills obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from The University of Kansas, graduating between the years 1988 and 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Brent obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate qualification from KRYTERION GLOBAL TESTING SOLUTIONS LTD in July 2017. Brent has also completed various cybersecurity and leadership courses on LinkedIn, including "Securing Your Home Office," "Cybersecurity at Work," "Leadership: Practical Skills," "Cybersecurity Awareness: Security Overview," "Developing Secure Software," and "Programming Foundations: Secure Coding," with completion dates ranging from February 2020 to November 2021.
