Christian Semmel

Christian Semmel has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1997. In that year, they began as a Desktop Systems Analyst at Mac Publishing LLC. In 1999, they became the Network Administrator at Schurman Fine Papers. From 2000 to 2011, they were the President/Owner of Xtian Consulting, providing freelance technical support to clients in a variety of industries. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Solutions Specialist, Product Manager, and Custom Development Portfolio Manager at Managing Editor Inc. (MEI). Since 2015, they have been employed at Thomson Reuters as a Technology Consultant and Senior Technology Consultant. In 2020, they joined Brio as a Business Analyst and Team Lead, where they are responsible for leading a team of four Business Analysts, standardizing best practices for Salesforce implementations, and leading new Salesforce implementation projects.

Christian Semmel completed a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program at Temple University in 2010, a Master of Arts (MA) in History at California State University, Northridge in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mass Communications and Public Relations at Boston University in 1997. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) Certification from ACAMS in April 2019.
