Kurt Albertson

Kurt Albertson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at BrioHealth Solutions since March 2024, Kurt leads design transfer processes and process validation activities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Previous roles include Medical Device Consulting Engineer at APT Inc., Senior Medical Product Quality Engineer at VulcanForms Inc., and Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronic, where Kurt significantly contributed to the launch of innovative neuromodulation therapies. Additionally, Kurt held key positions at Abbott, driving the new product introduction of the HeartMate 3 LVAD and leading process development for the OPTIS product line. Kurt began a career in process development at SRU Biosystems, focusing on biosensor manufacturing. Educated at UCONN School of Engineering, Kurt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
