Monique Saban currently serves as the Head of Partnerships at Brisbane Lions since January 2023. Prior to this role, Monique held multiple positions at Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club, including Head of Events, Fundraising & Coteries and Events Manager from May 2005 to January 2023. Monique's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Events Coordinator at Couran Cove Island Resort from July 2000 to May 2005. Monique holds a Diploma in Information Technology from SBIT (1997-1998) and a Diploma in Business - Hospitality from Bremer Institute of TAFE (1995-1996). Monique completed secondary education at Toowong State High School between 1990 and 1994.

The Brisbane Lions are an Australian Rules Football Club which participates in the Australian Football League (AFL) and was formed from the merger of the Brisbane Bears and the Fitzroy Lions in 1996. The club appeared in four consecutive AFL Grand Finals between 2001 and 2004, winning three (2001, 2002 and 2003) to become one of the most successful teams of the modern era. They also boast one of the most successful AFLW teams since the competitions inception, playing in four grand finals, and winning one Premiership in 2021.
