Phil Holder has had a long history with Bristol Airport, starting in 1993. Phil began as an Operations Supervisor and later became an Apron Duty Manager. In 1996, they transitioned to the role of Apron Controller, and in 1998, they became the Airside Safety Manager. From 1999 to 2002, Phil worked as the Airport Duty Manager. In 2002, they took on the role of Operations Support Manager, and in 2013, they were promoted to Head of Operations Support.
Phil Holder attended Gordano Comprehensive in Portishead from 1971 to 1977, but did not receive a degree or major in any field of study during this time. From 1978 to 1981, they attended Shuttleworth Agricultural College and obtained an HND (Higher National Diploma) in General Agriculture.
