Rick Miles CIH, CSP, CHMM has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Rick began their career as a Risk Assessor and bioremediation specialist at ENSR, where they closed contaminated sites using innovative remediation techniques and saved clients millions of dollars. Rick then worked as a Field HSE Representative for ASRC Energy Services, Inc and conducted training, managed injury cases, and participated in incident investigations. Rick later joined Bechtel as an Occupational Health professional and ASRC Energy Services, Inc as a Field Safety Representative on various construction projects. At Chevron, Rick served as a Safety Officer for an incident response team, a Health and Safety Team Leader on a mega LNG construction project, and a Health and Safety Supervisor on the Kitimat LNG Project. Rick also worked at the University of Alaska Anchorage as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Industrial Hygiene. Currently, Rick is the Director of Health and Safety for the Bristol Alliance of Companies, overseeing health and safety operations for the company's construction and environmental consulting work across the USA.

Rick Miles CIH, CSP, CHMM has a solid education background in the fields of toxicology, soil remediation, and biology. Rick obtained their Master of Science degree in Toxicology and Soil Remediation from Utah State University, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Boise State University between 1984 and 1990.

In addition to their educational achievements, Rick has acquired several certifications that complement their expertise. Rick earned the Certified Safety Professional designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in October 2014. Rick became a CIH Certified Industrial Hygienist in November 2005, certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH). Lastly, Rick became a Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) in November 2019 through the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. Rick's comprehensive education and certifications demonstrate their commitment to maintaining high professional standards in their field.
