Renée Wardlaw, Esq., M.B.A., CCEP has extensive experience in corporate compliance and administration. Renée Wardlaw currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Compliance & Administration at Bristol Bay Native Corporation, where they oversee the development, maintenance, promotion, monitoring, and auditing of the company's Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program. Renée Wardlaw also manages the company's Export Compliance Program and provides strategic oversight for the Annual Leadership and Compliance Conference. Additionally, Renée is responsible for overseeing the Administration Department and promoting a Culture of Integrity throughout the organization.

Prior to their current role, Renée worked as the Senior Director of Corporate Compliance & Associate General Counsel at Bristol Bay Native Corporation. In this position, they had similar responsibilities, including the development, maintenance, promotion, monitoring, and auditing of the company's Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program. Renée Wardlaw also drafted and revised policies, procedures, guidelines, and other written standards to ensure alignment with the company's Board of Directors and Executive Team.

Earlier in their career, Renée served as an Assistant Attorney General at the State of Alaska Department of Law. In this role, they represented various state agencies and conducted investigations, drafted legislation and regulations, and provided representation in administrative hearings and Superior Court trials.

Renée also worked as an Associate Attorney at Baxter Bruce and Sullivan, focusing on civil litigation, internal investigations, and providing general advice to Alaska Native Corporations. Renée Wardlaw handled various tasks including discovery, motions, depositions, and trial work in Juneau Superior Court.

In addition to their legal experience, Renée gained business experience as a Marketing Intern at Colorado Avenue Northwest Cooperative Inc., where they contributed to their Master of Business Administration program. Renée Wardlaw also served as a Student Attorney at American University Washington College of Law's Community and Economic Development Clinic, leading the refinance of a 36-unit affordable housing cooperative.

Renée's earlier experience includes roles as a Legal Intern at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. In these positions, they conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and participated in trial preparation.

Through their diverse work experience, Renée has developed a strong background in corporate compliance, legal representation, and business administration. Renée Wardlaw holds a Juris Doctor degree, an M.B.A., and is certified in Corporate Compliance and Ethics.

Renée Wardlaw, Esq., M.B.A., CCEP, holds a J.D. degree in Banking, Contract, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the American University Washington College of Law, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. During the same period, they also pursued an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from the American University - Kogod School of Business. Prior to that, Renée completed their undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, where they received a B.A. in History and Political Science from 2004 to 2006. Renée Wardlaw earned their High School Diploma from Rye Country Day School from 1998 to 2004.

Renée has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they obtained the certification of CCEP from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE). Furthermore, they are licensed by the Alaska Bar Association since May 2011, the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) since November 2010, and the New Jersey State Bar Association since November 2010.
