Helen Martin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and economic development. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Bristol Energy Cooperative since February 2024, Helen previously held the position of Chief of Staff to Thangam Debbonaire, MP, at the House of Commons from February 2023 to January 2024. Helen's career includes significant roles at The World Bank from June 2012 to March 2022, where expertise in public-private partnerships and infrastructure development was demonstrated through various senior positions. Helen's background also includes management consulting at Castalia, freelance consulting, and a senior economist role in Uganda's Ministry of Finance. Helen holds a MA in Economics and Physics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Development Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
