Instrumentation Scientist at Bristol Instruments

Roberti Balsano is an experienced instrumentation scientist and engineer with a significant background in the development of advanced chemical sensing instruments and new product engineering. Currently serving as an Instrumentation Scientist and New Product Development Engineer at Bristol Instruments, Inc., since May 2021, Roberti leads engineering efforts on interferometer-based products. Prior experience includes working at INFICON from 2015 to 2020, where Roberti contributed to chemical sensing instruments for semiconductor and natural gas production. Academic roles included a postdoctoral researcher position at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where expertise in various microscopy and spectrometry techniques was developed, and a research assistant position at The Research Foundation for SUNY. Roberti also has served as a teaching assistant at Binghamton University and has a strong educational foundation, holding a Ph.D. in Nanoscale Science from the University at Albany, along with master's and bachelor’s degrees in Physics from Binghamton University.
