Barry Brickey

Barry Brickey has extensive experience in public education and communication, currently serving as the Public Education and Information Officer for the Kingsport Fire Department since July 2006. In addition to this role, Barry Brickey has been the Emcee for Bristol Motor Speedway since 2012. Previous positions include Minister To Students at Lynn Garden Baptist Church from 2009 to July 2013, and various roles at Appalachian Educational Communication Corporation from 2001 to 2006, including Promotions Director and On Air Host. Barry Brickey's early career involved work as a Technician and Safety Coordinator at Eastman Chemical Company from 1990 to 1998. Barry Brickey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from King University and a Master of Business Administration in Municipal Management from Columbia Southern University, completed in 2022.
