Behnaz Shokouhi

Behnaz Shokouhi is a highly experienced professional in the field of cell and gene therapy manufacturing, currently serving as Senior Director and Site MSAT Head at Bristol Myers Squibb since December 2021, following a tenure as Director in the same role. Prior to this, Behnaz held the position of Site MSAT Head at Lonza and served as MSAT Department Manager at PharmaCell, where responsibilities included overseeing technology transfer. Early career experiences include positions as Cell Therapy Manufacturing Team Lead at RWTH Aachen University and as a Biologist at University Hospital Essen, alongside a visiting researcher role at Osaka University. Behnaz Shokouhi completed a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology/Immunology at RWTH Aachen University and holds an M.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Duisburg-Essen, complemented by a B.Sc. in Biology from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.
