Edward Valverde

Edward Valverde has extensive experience in procurement and business development within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Executive Director of Research Strategic Sourcing & Procurement at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Edward leads procurement and external partner relationships for the Research and Early Development team. Previously, Edward held various leadership roles, including Director of Global Procurement at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Director of Global Accounts at West Pharmaceutical Services, and Director of Business Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions, where significant business growth was achieved through strategic relationships. Edward's earlier positions included Sr Director of Global Procurement at Pfizer, Business Development Manager at Patheon, and Global Procurement Professional at Wyeth-Ayerst Pharma. Edward holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical/Chemical Industry Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BS in Biochemistry from Binghamton University.
