Jim Shen

Jim Shen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in bioanalytical science and operations. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Regulated Bioanalysis at Bristol Myers Squibb since August 2011, Jim oversees the centralized bioanalytical function, managing the testing of Pharmacokinetics, ADME biomarkers, and Immunogenicity samples in both preclinical and clinical studies. Prior roles at Bristol Myers Squibb included Senior Director and Director, focusing on technical and operational support, resource management, and team leadership. Earlier career experiences include key positions at Merck Sharp & Dohme and Schering-Plough Research Institute, where Jim contributed to global strategies in regulated bioanalytical analysis and method development. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Arizona.
