Manuel Velazquez

Manuel Velazquez is an experienced professional with a strong background in drug product operations within the biotechnology field, currently serving as Associate Director at Bristol Myers Squibb since February 2014. In previous roles, Manuel has managed the Inspection and Packaging area, overseeing daily operations and quality standards during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has contributed to technology transfer projects and new product launches. Prior experience includes engineering roles focused on maintenance and continuous improvement at Amgen, leadership in facilities management at Janssen-Ortho, and positions at Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical and McNeil Consumer Healthcare. Manuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, obtained in 2001.
