Michelle Steen

Michelle Steen serves as the Associate Director of Molecular Assay Development in Cell Therapy Analytical Development at Bristol Myers Squibb since September 2022. Previously, from July 2012 to December 2021, Michelle held various roles at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., culminating in the position of Director of Assay Development, where responsibilities included leading teams in NGS-based assay development, managing cross-functional projects, and overseeing reagent and method transfers for clinical applications. With a strong foundation in molecular diagnostics and assay validation, Michelle has contributed significantly to regulatory submissions and product development throughout her career. Michelle earned a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Washington and holds multiple certificates in Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials, along with a Master's in Physiological Sciences and a BA in Human Biodynamics.
