Chris Spendlove currently serves as the Chief Scout for Bristol Rovers Football Club, a position held since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as 1st Team Scout and Opposition Analyst at Plymouth Argyle Football Club from November 2021 to March 2022, and as Assistant Coach, Video Analyst, and Academy Technical Director at The Miami FC in 2020. Spendlove also worked as an Assistant Coach and Video Analyst at Hartford Athletic from December 2018 to January 2020, and as Head Coach for the Sting Soccer Club's Elite Clubs National League U17-U19 team in 2018. Prior coaching experience includes positions at Energy FC and Oklahoma State University. Spendlove holds a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Exercise Science from Oklahoma City University, as well as a National Diploma in Sports Science from St Helens College.
