Katie Walker is the Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity since September 2019, overseeing income generation and marketing strategies in collaboration with University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust. Previously, as Head of Brand and Marketing, Katie managed strategic plans for brand and fundraising efforts. A period of self-employment followed, after which Katie worked as Regional Head of Marketing Communications at the National Trust from March 2014 to May 2017, leading a team to enhance engagement with special places in the south west. At NSPCC from January 2006 to March 2014, Katie was instrumental in a successful rebranding initiative and an award-winning national campaign for the helpline service. Earlier positions include Marketing Communications Officer at Youth Music and various roles at NSPCC. Katie holds a BSc in Chemistry and Management from the University of Nottingham and a Diploma in Marketing from London Metropolitan University.
