Wim Steenbeek

Wim Steenbeek is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in search and rescue operations. Currently serving as a Search and Rescue Captain for Bristow Group since May 2024, Wim also holds the position of AW189 Search and Rescue pilot. Prior to this role, experience included positions at Offshore Helicopter Services UK Ltd from August 2013 to May 2024, where responsibilities encompassed AW139 SAR line training Captain and AW139 SAR Captain. Earlier career milestones feature roles as a Helicopter Pilot at Heli Holland and as a Student Pilot in the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Wim holds an ATPL(H) degree from NLS-CAE and has completed further education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
