Zaria Ward

Zaria Ward, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Tax Analyst, International, at Bristow Group since October 2023 and has been a Student Ambassador for The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Tax Associate at PwC from July 2021 to November 2023, a Course Assistant for Gies Online Programs from August 2020 to July 2021, and a Tax Intern at PwC for a brief period in July 2020. Zaria held leadership as President of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) from August 2019 to July 2020 and worked as a Student Worker at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from August 2017 to July 2020. Earlier internships at PwC include Assurance Intern and Start Intern. Zaria also has retail experience as a Sales Associate at TJ Maxx from October 2015 to July 2016. Zaria earned a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 2020.
