Chris Williams

Chris Williams is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Head of Enterprise Digital Architecture at Brit Insurance since December 2022, Chris previously held significant roles at Swiss Re as Architect for New Propositions, and at iptiQ by Swiss Re as Architect for Digital & Automation. Additional experience includes Lead Architect and Business Architect at Barclaycard, and roles at Serco starting as Architect & Engineering Lead. Early career includes positions as a Principal Engineer, Team Lead, Software Engineer, and Web Developer at various companies including Eazyweb Internet Services Ltd., and Legal & General. Chris holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Information Systems from the University of South Wales, completed in 2004. Expertise encompasses strategy and consulting, requirement gathering, business process modelling, and systems analysis across the software development lifecycle.
