Razvan "Val" Stroe has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology field. Razvan "Val" started their career as the Managing Director and Technology Director at MediaSoft / MEDIA-FAX News Agency, where they grew the technical staff, managed system uptime, and acted as a liaison with other sister companies. Razvan "Val" then worked as a Technology Consultant at Furkon Inc, where they managed projects and implemented new database architectures. Razvan "Val" later joined Encyclopaedia Britannica, first as the Director of Educational Products and Database Systems, and later as the Vice President of Engineering, Education. In these roles, Val led development teams, coordinated technology support, and played a key role in planning the transition to AWS cloud. Val has demonstrated expertise in various tech stacks and a strong track record in managing teams and driving technological advancements.

Razvan "Val" Stroe pursued their education at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Razvan "Val" obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 1993 to 1998. Subsequently, they furthered their academic journey at the same institution and completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 1999.
