Ted Theofrastous

Ted Theofrastous is an advisor at BRITE Energy Innovators. Ted has also worked as an Intellectual Property and Commercialization Fellow at Ohio Federal Research Network, a founder and principal at The Law Offices of T.C. Theofrastous, ltd., and an adjunct professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University.

Ted has a long history of working in the energy sector. Ted has a Master of Engineering Online from Case Western Reserve University and a law degree from the same school. Ted has also worked as a Fellow at the Ohio Federal Research Network, capitalizing on the capabilities of Ohio’s research universities to conduct world-class research.

In 2007, Ted founded The Law Offices of T.C. Theofrastous, Ltd., a boutique law firm specializing in intellectual property and technology law. The firm has grown steadily over the years and now has a team of five attorneys. In addition to their work at the firm, Ted is also an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University, teaching courses in electrical engineering and computer science.

Ted is a passionate advocate for energy innovation and has been working in the sector for over 20 years. Ted is a strong believer in the power of technology to change the world and is constantly looking for new ways to apply it to the energy industry.

Ted Theofrastous has a JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in International Law and IP. Ted also has a BA in Theirtory & Economics from Marlboro College. Ted is a Microsoft Certified Professional.
