Martin Lear

Martin Lear is a Captain on the Boeing 787 with British Airways, bringing 40 years of flying experience, including 37 years of professional service, which began in the Royal Air Force. They served as a flying instructor and Chief Pilot Instructor, responsible for pilot training and standardization. Alongside their aviation career, Martin held a position as a councillor for Waverley Borough Council for eight years and has contributed to teamwork facilitation in the NHS. Currently, they are a keynote speaker and the founder of Lear_Aero_Art, where Martin creates bespoke aviation-themed furniture made from aircraft parts.
