Alexander Gorban

Alexander Gorban is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in managing complex tax-related subjects across multiple industries. Currently, as the Deputy Head of Tax Russia and Area Transfer Pricing Lead at British American Tobacco since September 2013, Alexander oversees tax strategy, compliance, audits, and transfer pricing aspects. Prior to this role, Alexander operated as an Independent Tax Advisor and held various positions within British American Tobacco, PepsiCo, and Xerox, developing and implementing comprehensive tax strategies, managing risks, and optimizing tax positions. Alexander holds a Master of Science in business accounting, analysis, and audit from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, and a Master of Engineering in Material Science from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology.
