Martin Guest

Martin Guest is an accomplished Operations Director with extensive experience at BAT since January 2002, overseeing complex manufacturing operations in Singapore and managing a workforce of 400 employees. Under Martin's leadership, the Singapore factory produces approximately 16 billion cigarettes annually, generating a gross margin exceeding US$750 million. Prior roles include Supply Chain Director for BAT Japan, where Martin established a robust supply chain for a 24 billion cigarette business, and National Sales Manager, responsible for a US$1.9 billion turnover through a 600-person sales force. Martin also served as Head of Plan and Logistics for BAT Korea, managing the complete Sales & Operations Planning process, and contributed to setting up a greenfield factory in South Korea. Previously, Martin was a Night Shift Manager at Rothmans, responsible for full factory operations during the night shift. Martin holds an Engineering with Business Studies degree from Sheffield Hallam University.
