Tracey Cooke

Tracey Cooke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in patent law and management. Currently serving as the Head of Patents at BAT since October 2014, Tracey previously held the position of Managing Director (Patents) at Novagraaf (UK) from September 2011 to September 2014. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant General Counsel (Patents) at GlaxoSmithKline from February 2000 to August 2011 and Team Leader at Aventis CropScience between 1997 and 2000. Tracey's career began as a Scientist at the James Black Foundation from 1995 to 1997. Academically, Tracey earned a DPhil in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and an MA in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, graduating in 1995 and 1992, respectively.
