Bethan Hosking Jones currently serves as the Head of Research Development and Support (ReDS) and Postgraduate Student Office at the British Antarctic Survey, a role commenced in September 2023. Previously, Bethan held various positions at the University of Cambridge from April 2008 to August 2023, including Research Development Manager, Interim EU and International Team Manager, ERC Officer, and Network Manager for the Marie Curie ITN FP7, culminating in the role of Research Development Officer. Prior experience includes a position as Production Editor at Cambridge University Press and Litter Projects Co-ordinator at the Marine Conservation Society. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Marine Environmental Protection and a BSc in Ocean Science from Bangor University, as well as secondary education at Porthcawl Comprehensive School.

We're working to understand why, what this means for the inhabitants of Earth, and what we can do about it.
