Carolyn Ewart is an experienced professional in the field of social work, currently serving as the National Director of BASW Northern Ireland since July 2018. In addition, Carolyn has held the position of Country Manager for the Northern Ireland Association of Social Workers since April 2010. Prior to these roles, Carolyn worked as a Social Work Practitioner and Manager across Northern Ireland from July 1997 to April 2010, and also gained experience at the Social Services on the Isle of Man from January 1993 to 1995. Carolyn Ewart holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Care Management from Ulster University (2005-2006), a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work from Ulster University (1995-1997), and a degree in Social Policy & Social Administration from the University of Central Lancashire (1988-2002).
