Roger Hawkes

President Of The British Association Of Sport And Exercise Medicine at BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF SPORT AND EXERCISE MEDICINE

Roger Hawkes has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Roger currently serves as the President of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine. In addition, they are a member of the International Golf Federation and the International Cricket Council, where they hold positions in their respective medical committees. Roger has also held roles as the Eligibility Director at the EDGA Disability Golf Agency, the Executive Director of The Golf and Health Project and Golf and Health Ltd, and the Director of Eligibility at EDGA. Roger Hawkes has also owned and operated Event Medical since 1995, where they served as the Owner until April 2020. Roger worked as the Chief Medical Officer for the European Tour from 2005 to 2017, overseeing medical and performance support for golfers, caddies, and Tour staff worldwide. Additionally, they have worked as a business consultant at Sports Medicine Partners from 2018 to 2019.

Roger Hawkes attended the University of Birmingham from 1971 to 1976, where they earned their MB ChB in Medicine. Prior to that, their education history is not provided.
