Elizabeth Wilkinson

Elizabeth Wilkinson is a highly experienced legal professional with a strong background in corporate governance and compliance. Since July 2019, Elizabeth has held various leadership positions at the British Business Bank, including Director of Corporate, Legal and Governance, and previously served as Senior Counsel and Lawyer in the same department. Prior to this, Elizabeth spent over 18 years at Maitland, serving as Governance Services Business Partner and Managing Director of the British Virgin Islands office, providing comprehensive governance support and director services to a diverse international client base. Elizabeth's career began at DLA Piper, where expertise in Corporate and Commercial law was developed, ultimately leading to a partnership role. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nottingham and completed the Solicitors Final Examination at the College of Law, Chester.
