Alex Butterworth is currently working as an Investment Analyst at British Business Investments since October 2022. Previously, they worked at Texas Instruments as a Sales Intern and Pricing Specialist. During their time at Kennolyn Camps, they worked as a Camp Counselor teaching various activities to children. Alex holds a Master's degree in Finance and Investment Management from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with Placement from The Manchester Metropolitan University. They have experience using key software like Excel, SAP, Vendavo, and Spotfire.

As the commercial arm of the British Business Bank, we make loans and investments of between £5m and £200m in finance providers to smaller businesses. We invest directly into FinTechs (P2P and online lenders), Challenger Banks (tier 2 capital) and Asset Finance companies. We also invest in small cap debt, equity and venture capital funds.
