Richard Stacey-Chapman

Richard Stacey-Chapman is an experienced sports management professional with a strong background in events and competitions. As the Events & Competition Manager at Paddle UK since March 2019, Richard leads the events and competition team for the British Canoeing domestic and international events program. Previously, Richard served as an Events Officer, contributing to significant events such as the 2021 ICF Freestyle World Championships. As the founder of Sitting Volleyball Experience, Richard has developed a variety of coaching and competition programs. Richard's prior roles include Development Director at ParaVolley Europe, Assistant School Sport Development Officer for North West Leicestershire School Sport Partnership, and Sitting Volleyball Development Manager at Volleyball England. Richard's career also includes working as a Games Maker during the London 2012 Olympics and a degree from Loughborough University in Sport & Exercise Science.
