Joanne Jones OLY is an experienced professional in data governance and marketing, currently serving as Data Governance Manager and Programme Director at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT since May 2014. Prior to this, Joanne worked as a Marketing Consultant and Proof Reader while self-employed from April 2013 to April 2014, and served as a Consultant at Proposito Financial Planning from August 2009 to August 2013, focusing on business improvement, digital marketing, and event management. Joanne's earlier roles include Product Manager at PPI Learning Services, where responsibilities included developing course content and managing partner relationships, and various marketing positions at Thomson NETg, where Joanne played a key role in international marketing for technology products and managed teams for training delivery. Joanne holds a BSc in Sport Science from the University of Brighton, completed in 1992.
