Kevin Chalmers

Kevin Chalmers is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of computing, currently serving as Deputy Dean at the University of Roehampton since May 2019, with progressive roles in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. In March 2024, Kevin assumed the role of Vice President (Community) and Trustee at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Previous roles include External Examiner positions at the University of Malta and the University of Sunderland, as well as a Curriculum Consultant for 42 Abu Dhabi and UA92. With significant experience at Edinburgh Napier University from 2010 to 2019, Kevin has a PhD in Computing and a BEng in Software Engineering from the same institution.
