Affan Javed

Affan Javed is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Regional Head of School Systems for British Council in South Asia, overseeing educational programs across Nepal, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka since May 2017. With a strong background in program management, Affan has led significant initiatives, including the Aawaz II Programme and the Consolidating Democracy in Pakistan project, focusing on parliamentary strengthening and capacity building. Affan has held various leadership roles, including temporary Director for the British Council and has contributed to governance as a board member for Children's Global Network Pakistan and AIESEC Pakistan. Affan's earlier experience includes curating initiatives within the Global Shapers Community and consulting for the Ministry of Culture in Peru. Affan holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
