Asma Alam

Asma Alam is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a robust background in various sectors. Currently serving as Communications Coordinator at the British Council since January 2024, Asma previously held the position of Marketing Lead at Bolton Hospice for a year. Asma's diverse experience includes roles such as Account Manager at Creed & Culture and Online Digital Merchandiser at N Brown Group, as well as earlier positions at the British Council and Pakistan Fashion Design Council. Asma's career began at Sefam Pvt Limited (Bareeze) as Brand Marketing Manager, following a role as a Visiting Lecturer in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Design Management for Fashion Retailing from The University of Manchester and an MSc in International Fashion Marketing from The Manchester Metropolitan University, among other specialized training in fashion design and garment construction.
